N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Much as the last word (Flatwood?) looks like Gloster, Burley in Hampshire is suggested by the deleted word which could be Ringwood, and the area of Townsend's collections at this time

A Townsend sheet from 8/1873 http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/395183/ is labelled 'Below Burley, Avon District' (county not named) - the River Avon flows between Ringwood and Christchurch, Hampshire not far from Burley

"between Burley and Christchurch Road Station".

The LSWR (originallly the Southampton and Dorchester Railway) ran just to the south of Burley. Holmsley station was formerley known as Christchurch Road station. SU2101.
