N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Top label - 'coll & communicated by T Fraser, Brent' ?? (and get that curly t in Sept!) Thomas Fraser appears on the menu, with no dates; but he has no H@H specimens to compare

I think it may be F Brent - there are several refs scattered through the literature and he seems to have been a bryologist and other-non-flowering plant man. Allen (The Botanists) has an F. Brent (1816-1903) but I don't know if he is the same man.
