Edit history
N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

- The collector (usually) knows where he was. On the Watsonian map Gamlingay was on a narrow peninsula of Cambridgeshire to the north of which was Huntingdonshire and to the south, Bedfordshire. Yapp could therefore have been in any of three vice Counties when he said he was at Gamlingay and he should have the last word. Accordingly the record belongs to vc 31. Other Gamlingay records of this date illustrate the point.
