N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This place name is very poor, it appears to refer to a canal and a river, the Itchen navigation canal, and river Itchen: Has a "decoy pond lock" decoy may be the word under Hants. ?

The labelling refers to a ' ...... ..., Hants, Station Meadow, by river
(I can find nothing about Basingstoke canal on this sheet)
The English name is given as 'Meadow Ladies Smock'

No! No Basingstoke never said there was.
But it was the apparent " decoy" reference so I searched all canals in Hant's for decoy and only found that one, my point was that as a canal and river was referred too, but not which one if I could locate a point on that canal, it might give some guide to the collecting area.
Will take another look at this sheet when you release it.

I read the label as -

"Cardamine dentata The usual [or 'normal'?] form [or 'The road from'?] Herne Station meadows on and near the river".

Herne Station opened 1867; renamed "Hurn" 1897; closed 1935. Vc 11; (for local government purposes Hurn is now in Dorset).

The river is the Blackwater. Site in SZ1296.
