This post was made automatically in response to a request for comment on the documentation form. There is more general info about such requests here.
Documented by hallucigenia on 7th August 2011. Checked by johned Edit historyN.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names. Log-in to edit this sheet.

I have made a couple of corrections to Nelmes's notes. The collector isn't RHC but "comm" will have to do. Once again I think the collector must be Nelmes whose notes appear on practically every sheet in this collection. |

I went through all sheets with any reference to Mr Robert Henry Corstorphine [perhaps 18] and in no case is there any example of his hand writing.
So David! do we add 'Nelmes' as collector on these sheets so that if the 'real' collector, should Nelmes not be he, be bulk changed?

Thanks I did not know that, but all the sheets I looked at were either him or her or both.

I have posted a note about Corstophine under 'Botanists'.
I have asked Tom to consider my suggestion about Nelmes. |
