Howitt collected extensively in Nottinghamshire and produced a flora of that county; some of his finds [eg for Breason (??)] are recorded by H C Watson.

Interesting, thanks! The only place I can find with a similar name is Breaston SK465335in Derbyshire, but not far from the Notts boundary.
