There is more than one Stainforth in Yorkshire, but the VC64 location at SD86 is suggested by Tatham's other specimens being nearly all from there

I agree: Tatham lived in and collected around Settle.

This label reads "J Tatham Jr"; other labels read only "John Tatham".

Both John Tatham (1793-1875) and J Tatham Jr are mentioned in Simpson's Index and both contributed to the Phytologist but I wonder if they are one and the same person for only John Tatham is mentioned by Britten & Boulger.
