I think " deep wet sandy loam [?] between Petersfield [@/X?] Hills illegible [Ockford?], or something similar.
A search around that date shows Townsend collected in Hampshire unfortunately the last record is the 18th.

Ashford is in SU7426 a couple of km due north of Petersfield.
