N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

"Lombardia ad Benacum in dimissis umidis sal. cal. alt. mb. 280
25/5 65 HERBARIUM PETRI PORTAE"

25 May 1865.
At Lake Garda, Lombardy, in damp low-lying ....... [for the remainder of the details of the locality I don't know what specialised meanings the abbreviations have].

The collector is Fr Rupert Huter (1834-1919), an Austrian priest, botanist and pteridologist, whose speciality was the flora of the eastern Alps and whose main herbarium is at the Vinzentinum (a Church school) in Brixen, South Tyrol, Italy.

Kew has some of Huter's plants, seemingly ex herb Hooker.
