N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

the collection date, although clear, is not accepted. Are the details for Fred Robinson correct on the database?

The problem was with 'Botanical Exchange Club of the British Isles', which was renamed in 1912 (before this specimen was collected). Presumably old stamps continued to be used after the society was renamed to 'Botanical Society and Exchange Club of the British Isles'.

It was this type of problem that had previously lead me to group together the various names.
