I wonder if this is a mistranscription for Tarleton SD4520 see http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/232667/ The Colne area is out of Vera Gordon's normal area and is not near a railway station - she didn't drive!

The grid reference SD912393 goes to Trawden, this is a nearer match to Traulden than Tarleton. There appears to be a railway station at Colne, about 3km away.
