suggests fruits...stamens but no petals present. The date on the specimen is
July 1900 but when entered in the date collected field it is not
accepted.

The label says coll Britton (not Rogers); fide (i.e. on the say so of) Rogers.

You have to enter dates as numbers i.e.7/1900
