N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I read it as Easterness; but am not sure exactly what area that is; I started looking at the many Broomhills within reach of Inverness. The one with the biggest bridge is in the far east of Invernesshire, at NH994226 near Grantown on Spey. There is a Broomhill on the Black Isle, Cromarty; at NH610515 north of Inverness by the B9162 road (A9 sweeps through nowadays); and a Broomhill Well at nearby Fortrose; but I am not sure whether there is much of a bridge - more like a culvert perhaps, judging by the map. Muir of Ord, Elgin and Cawdor also have Broomhills and are not far from Inverness.

The site near Grantown on Spey fits well with E A Armitage's other specimens that month; it is S of Grantown on Spey, just off the A95, between Dulnain Bridge & Nethy Bridge, NH9923
