This sheet is confused by the label which states 'on mountains on the western isles of Scotland' and may or may not refer to an actual specimen. I have entered this as S x thuringiaca as per Young's determination. Possibly one of the earliest specimens of this species; seemingly just outside the native range, see BSBI Handbook 14 p58

The reference to the western isles is evidently because Breach had mis-IDed this spmn as S. arranensis (then known as S. pinnatifida).
