Would a farm house have a Park?

Three days after collecting this specimen Woods was in Lincs, so the locality was probably Burghley House near Stamford TF0405, William Cecil, Lord Burghley's Northamptonshire palace which Woods, an architect, would surely have visited en route to Yorkshire.
