N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Again, requesting confirmation for my first set of sheets...assuming RBG Kew goes in the herbarium field (from the stamp)and L.V. Lester-Garland goes in the collected by field? Or is Lester-Garland also for the herbarium field as this specimin was donated by LG?
Also, I noticed on the how to document a herbarium page there is reference to an accession number. Is this now the collectors number field? Thanks, Kelly.

Usually 'Kew' would go in the ex herb field (if the specimen was from elsewhere), but because the sheet is from Kew's herbarium there's no need to explicitly record this. It doesn't matter much if Lester-Garland is noted in both the collector and ex herb fields or only as collector, there are lots of ambiguous cases. For a sheet like this I generally would note the name in both fields.

For this sheet the accession number is the Kew barcode number, which has already been linked to the specimen when the image was loaded on-line.

Collector numbers are serial numbers that some collectors used to link specimens with entries in their personal catalogues or field notebooks. Such numbers are typically handwritten on the label. There's more information here. This specimen doesn't have a collector number.

I need to update the help files regarding accession numbers v's collector numbers.
