N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I find that the Kew high res images often fail to load, or when loaded are horribly distorted.

Having managed to download this one, Photoshop 'tells me' that it cannot open it because of a problem of parsing the jpg data.

DP has similar problems with these images.

When I try to enlarge the hi-res jpegs the three h@h windows crash and the unbelievably silly and irritating message "aw snap" appears.

I find the loading of Kew images very much slower than those of the SLBI, and slow to reload if I go to another tab and then return. I am using Firefox. Not sure if it is an image cache problem.

With this image there is a word before 1801 in the corner:

Mentha odorata ?
Dr Smith says it is a variety of ...
