Sheet details unclear. Collector possibly Joseph Woods, there is a date written 12/07/1828 but this would be 1 year before the birth of herbarium guy Allan Octavian Hume. Site possibly Chudleigh. There are random words and numbers but the label doesn't give any clue as to what they relate to

Woods' herbarium passed to F. Townsend, and then to Hume / SLBI in due course.

Woods recorded the date by putting first the last two numbers of the year, then the number or numbers of the month, then the day of the month.
Left hand label :
Chudleigh 43916 = 1843 September 16th
