N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

'Near the Bedhead'?? a place name or a romantic allusion?

Perhaps Redhead or Red Head, Angus, OS NO702473, on the coast between Arbroth and Montrose (so not far from Forfar). Apparently Lathyrus sylvestris was recorded there about 1813 according to Agricultural Surveys: Angus by a 'Mr Don of Forfar'. Could this be Mr George Don junior 17/5/1798-25/2/1856, (a Famous Forfar Botanist)?
