N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

There's a thin horizontal at the beginning of the place name which suggests the first letter may be an 'I', and the placename Ingleton.

North of Ingleton on the west bank of Swilla Glen is 'Helks' a steep wooded slope, OS SD694742.

Ingleton sounds quite credible.

I'd already tenuously made the connection with Helks Wood (there are many literature references to it exposed by google), but without deciphering 'Myleton' it seemed a leap too far.

regards,

Tom
