Perhaps the first letter is more like the W of Water above than the M of Moors to the left. It could then be 'Wallcott' just north of Bath (OS ST752658), which in modern spelling loses an 'l' and a 't'. Just about enough room to get a peat moor in next to the River Avon at the time the label appears to have been written.

I now think Shapcott. Compare the p above. As to where this might be, is another question. (Such a name could occur for instance among the many moors around Shapwick, given these border on Catcott; given also that there is a Shapcott Barton, Devon, SS847234, not far beyond the Somerset boundary)
