I think the collector here is Joseph Woods, a frquent associate of Townsend, who had the habit of writing dates in reverse: year (two digits), month, day,
so this is fairly certainly 15/6/1851, though the dots between numbers don't look like Woods. You can, however use the Search facility on the left of the front page to look up what Woods was doing in May 1851, and he has four other specimens all from Lewes, so I guess this date is correct
