N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Appearing in fruit? Label appears to refer to the county rather than the town. The handwriting is H C Watson's, though the Birmingham label states 'donor unknown'.

The label "Donor unknown" appears not infrequently on BIRM sheets, often associated with the name of G S West.

The H@H Wiki says that West took up an appointment at Birmingham University in 1906, later becoming Professor there. He enlarged and improved the department, especially the herbarium.
