N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This specimen 'From Charles C Babington' and 'Prestented by Professor GF West', 'Herb. Bot. Dept., Univ. Birmingham'. Does this mean CCB is collector? Too early for GFW.

Although W Hillhouse isn't nomally associated with these others, does anyone agree the handwriting is very similar to http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/297021/?image - same date and place

CCB's Memoirs for 12 June 1855 confirm that he was near Hatfield that day and found two specimens of Ranunculus. If he were in the company of anyone it would be Rev. RH (Robert Holden) Webb, who had received Babington at his parsonage in Essendon the previous day.
