N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I couldn't locate Foxley Hatch - near Beeby's usual area of Croydon perhaps?

Seems to be a modern building, converted to a pub 1993: 'The name of this Wetherspoon pub recalls the Foxleyhatch Turnpike which stood in this vicinity. The turnpike was a private road on which a toll was paid. The name 'Foxley' is from the Old English 'fox and leah' (meaning a clearing for foxes), and survives in nearby Foxley Lane'.

The pub appears to be modern, but named after Foxley Hatch Turnpike [pdf], established by an Act of 1807.

EDIT: posting at the same time as you...
