The handwriting appears to be Beeby's, despite the lack of his rubber stamp and the unusual initials 'M M' or 'B T M' (?). I also suspect Beeby's favourite White Hill which I believe is at Arthur's Seat near Caterham, SU3512. Though this is Sussex, I believe it would still fall in the Croydon Survey Area. All too circumstantial to enter though, unless anyone else agrees.
