N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Townsend has written J Woods name in faint pencil. Although not Woods' usual, I have seen 1 or 2 other sheets where he's written the date in conventional style. I thought the handwriting close to Woods' - haven't checked his other locations at the time

Thanks Nick,
I was trying to sort out Woods' sheets from early Townsend's [some when he was 13] Some of these seem to be Hamburgh's, too? I am not familiar with his handwriting really but you might like to take a look?
