N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This sheet had been edited as 1960; I see no date on sheet but have amended to 1860 - this is H Baker's era

The date has become confused because the previous editor had removed the note '[Dod used]' => date of death.

I can't track down who Rt. Hon. H T Baker was, all his sheets are undated.

The sheets 'imported by BIRMherb' were a set that had been documented by Alex Lockton, prior to the herb@home project - he may know who H T Baker is.

Herb@home doesn't explicitly use date-of-death for new documentation, so the imported sheets are an anomaly - I suspect in this case that 1960 possibly is valid (given the 1967 date on some of the associated Birmingham Nat Hist and Phil Soc lables) - but this sheet may be best left undated.

I've added dates for H.T.Baker (=> Harold Trevor Baker 1877-1960), but am unsure if Harry Baker is the same.

Harold Baker (Liberal politician)
(Born Portsea Island, 22 January 1877; died Winchester, 12 July 1960)
Made Privy Councilor 1915.
..and:
BOTANICAL SOCIETY & EXCHANGE CLUB OF THE BRITISH ISLES. (VOL. XII. PART V) REPORT FOR 1941-42
Chairmam - The Rt. Hon. H. T. Baker, P.C.
.
List of Members:
Baker, Rt. Hon. H. T., The Warden's Lodgings, Winchester College, Hants.

Harry Baker collected in only Streatley and Moulsford Berks, ~50km from Winchester and writes in a style reminiscent of C19.

Perhaps two collectors!

In 1881, there was a Harold Baker, who was a member of the Birmingham Natural History and Microscopical Society.
