The printed label is a clipping from a Botanical Exchange Club Report. It's probably not worth transcribing the full notes from such clippings - though often it is worth referring to the printed part as it clearly states the locality and collection date - though in this case the handwritten label is legible anyway.

As a trial run Quentin Groom [qgroom] has tried scanning scanning and OCR'ing pages from the BEC reports and including the entries on the system as specimens. In this way we hope to be able to link the journal entries with images of the corresponding specimens. As the printed pages are amenable to semi-automated recognition this could be an efficient way to capture the additional notes.

(In case you're wondering, I've tried using automated recognition to read the printed labels from herbarium sheets, but with current technology this remains too unreliable to be useful).
