notes: | "as far as we know, this is the first discovery of the hybridfor Britain. The late Dr. White's British specimens in his herbarium at the MUseum, Perth, are disappointing, and show no clear evidence of S. repens. The hybrid is well known as a cultivated plant under the name of S. bicolor: neither Andersson nor Wimmer appear to know a native station for it." Edward F. & Wm. R. Linton. |
