ocrnotes:	E. capillare, Hoffm. Shirley, Derbyshire, 1887. This form occurs along a ditch near here, extending for about 20 yds. In two other spots, a mile or so away, ordinary sylvatimm occurs, I did not think of it as other than somewhat luxuriant sylvaticum until my brother suggested to me to attach the above name to it.--W.
