* Heneage Gibbs [1802-1887] was born at Bath, [and] was a clergyman. He was also M.B. 1826 [act[ing] only 24!!?] the biograph list of Brit[ish][and] Irish Botanists 2nd ed. 1931, says he "discovered Euphorbia pilosa", but that surely was not so! He is mentioned several times in Babington's Memoir [and] journal 1897. H.S.T.
