| notes: | This species is abundant in wet pet bogs in Surrey and Sussex.I have rarely seen two specimens in which the lip-markings or the colouring were identical. In a field ner it grows with O maculata L. and Listera ovata on acid soil. Nearly every blossom had a little fly in the top of the spur, but when the flies were removed they were dead, or else intoxicated with nectar. -E.C.Wallace |
