Herbarium specimen: Carex nigra x elata = C. x turfosa

Taxon:	Cyperaceae: Carex nigra x elata = C. x turfosa Fr. uncertain identification by Stephen Lemon 12/2/2016 There are good indications that this and the same specimens on the associate sheet are a hybrid with Carex nigra (lack of fibrillae, variable bract length).
Other name:	Cyperaceae: Carex elata All. ("Tufted-sedge") det. Almquist "Carex stricta var. (probably)" teste Dr. Almquist.
