English botanist. Born Dorothy Adlington Cadbury, Oct 14, 1892, in Birmingham, England; died Aug 21, 1987; dau. of Barrow Cadbury [b.1862] (Chair of Cadbury Bros, Ltd., 1922–32) and Geraldine Southall Cadbury (1865–1941); sister of Geraldine Mary "Cherry" Cadbury and Paul Cadbury. (see Barrow Cadbury Trust).
Known for pondweeds expertise and for assembling roughly 400 collections of Potamogeton
and joint author of
A computer - mapped flora and study of the county of Warwickshire
by D.A. Cadbury, John Gregory Hawkes and Robert Charles Readett; with a section on bryophytes by T. Laflin and contributed chapters by F.W. Shotton, H. Thorpe and G.T. Warwick. Published 1971 by Academic Press for the Birmingham Natural History Society in London.
