Biography
"Mrs H. Dixon, fl.1832-1850" was Anne Dixon, née Austen (a cousin of Jane Austen, the novelist), 1799-1864, wife of the Rev. Henry Dixon , vicar of Ferring, Sussex. She was an intimate from childhood of Mrs Anna Atkins, née Children, 1797-1871, with whom she is known to have collected.
