Thomas Jackson Foggitt (1858-1934), whose wife was Mrs Gertrude Foggitt née Bacon (1874-1949), co-discoverer of Carex microglochin in Scotland in 1923.
His grandfather was Thomas J. Foggitt (1810-1895), and his father William Foggitt (1835-1917).
These were the Foggitts of Thirsk.
