There are many similar anonymous Staffs sheets 1840 with a distinctive handwriting, eg: http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/258714/
many of them from Madeley (Babington also collected in the county then but it is not his handwriting). Any suggestions? |

There are many more uncompleted J W Daltry sheets - does anyone fancy a go at editing some? The handwriting is distinctive.
They can be found from the 'specimens' search by selecting Aberystwyth on 'collection, and 1835 - 1845 on 'dates'. Then choose any of those with an incomplete entry!
Those where no placename has been entered are mostley from Madeley Staffs, or Gravenhunger Moss Shropshire. |

Many of these sheets have now been edited as collector either John William Daltry or Rev John William Daltry (1804-1879), however the name is still not coming up on the menu - does anyone remember how to fix this? |

I've merged the various J W Daltry entries. The name should now appear on the drop-down list. |
