Is the 'p' in 'Cruspin' a double-s as in Brassica (using "long s")?

Woods was on Ben Lawers two days after collecting this specimen, which may give a clue.

Thanks for that - never come across p=ss before..... unfortunately can't find any permutation of Cruessin/Cruepin or similar in the area of Ben Lawers or a guestimated 2 days 1866's travel so suspect its probably an approximation of something gaelic that eludes me.... If anyone does spot a reasonable candidate please amend. Thanks.
