Babington's dates

It seems that CCB wrote his dates as M/D/year - at least on some of his early sheets. Where this is obvious - they have been correctly transcribed, but the sheets seem to be in a muddle and really need looking at again - it is not something that would show up on review, but needs his itineraries looking at! He has otherwise done some prodigious travelling at times! (and made more difficult by his spelling!)
