The initials referred to are of WH Beeby, who appears to have received
several (or many) Edward Palmer herbarium sheets and, after some relabelling, incorporated them into his own herbarium. These, in turn, passed to A.O.Humes herbarium at the SLBI (South London Botanical Institute).
