Tom I often find errors in the unillustrated sheets from Manchester. For example MANCH.315608.Kk803 should be from Ledbury, Herefordshire rather than Sedbury, Glouscestershire. What is the best way to inform you of these, or would you rather not know? |

Hi Quentin,
I'm happy to receive reports of this type of error.
As I'm not attached to Manchester any more, I can't directly update their database myself, but I'll pass this on to Leander. It is useful for me to know about this type of error, so that the herbariaunited database entry can be corrected at the same time.
A possible solution would be for institutions with non-imaged data online (mainly MANCH and PTH) to each have a thread on the message board where such errors could be noted.
regards,
Tom.
(I've updated the Sedbury record and will ask Leander to change it in the MANCH catalogue). |

Hi Quentin and Tom,
Yes, we are always very keen to learn of any errors you find with image-less Manchester sheets. Don't hold back!
Kind regards,
Leander |

Hi Leander,
another change for emu:
The taxon entry for 'Orobanche caryophyllea' should be 'Orobanche caryophyllacea'
I'm not sure how many records this will affect (all the O. caryophyllacea imported from Emu got listed under the incorrect name, but that could have been an artifact of the import process).
regards,
Tom |

Hi Leander,
Two MANCH sheets from VC1 are collected by 'C C Vigais' - I suspect this is Chambre Corker Vigurs. |
