N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

You have unearthed a trove of Burges' sheets - this one inscribed also by E Nelmes

None of Burges's sheets is ex herb Nelmes although Nelmes 'vetted' a number of specimens. See my contributions to http://herbariaunited.org/core/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6291 on the 'Botanists' message board. Since writing those notes I have formed the (uncorroborated) opinion that Burges may later in his life have relabelled his earlier specimens but I am no longer convinced that [all] the hand-written notes are in Nelmes's hand - I will review the evidence.

Should Burges's collection be designated 'ex herb Burges' (and what would be gained thereby)? In other words, when is an herbarium an Herbarium? Didn't someone recently ask a similar question?

this all sounds a bit complicated and indecisive, I shall leave them as the labels appear and let Tom ( who implied he would block edit them) do them later when we know for sure
