N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

St Faith's is between Horsford & Felthorpe NW of Norwich, TG1817 and is the site for similar collections eg http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/342619/ This raises the possibility of the Worthing specimen being from Worthing, Norfolk

According to the biography on the Royal College of Surgeons web site, Lowne senior was the son of yet another Benjamin Thompson Lowne, so perhaps the collector here is Gandfather Lowne!

Thanks. On page 16 Lowne senior refers to the zone of vegetation next to the sea as the 'Marrams'. This occurs in some of his labels and has given problems - e.g. on sheet 377349, where I took it as 'marrains'. 'Marraine' is the French for godmother!
