I've seen this species growing abundantly at the summit of Snowdon myself, so the location and height may be correct. Perhaps the collector approached the summit via Cwm Dyli.

Yes, indeed. My point was that it will grow at much lower altitudes, too. I have records in VC48 from around 450m = ~1500ft - about the height of Cwm Dyli.

That's fine. It made me look [in vain] to find a published lower altitude limit for the species.
