For location I would suggest 'Nr. Henfold' OS TQ186430, ~5km south of Dorking.

Possibly - although it's been written 'Henford' - compare the r in Surrey and the l in Caucalis.

Although it's not on the maps there is a Henford Lakes caravan site and fishery on the east side of the road at Henfold. This may be a modern contrived name though.
