N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This is surely not P. elatior but the hybrid P. veris x vulgaris (or perhaps a hybrid with P. elatior as one parent)?

For collector see http://www.baberfamilytree.org/Balmer/harrybaberfamily.htm

I think you have the right Whitwell. The gazetteer in Gigi Crompton's Cambridge Flora Records has 'Whitwell, copses' 'Whitwell Farm' and 'Whitwell Wood' all TL4058, Coton. 1839 was the year Baber received his BA at Cambridge (Alumni Cantabrigienses).
