when selecting a google search for a location in the channel islands the search appears to be truncated...
as
ISLANDS, JERSEY, NOIVMONT
rather than
CHANNEL ISLANDS, JERSEY, NOIVMONT _________________ L FFFF SSS

Thanks for reporting this. I've fixed this is the current development version, which is not live yet.
The reason this happened is that I was dropping the first word of two word region names - in general this meant losing a compass bearing e.g.
'West Cornwall' became 'Cornwall' - as I found this tended to give more useful search results. This had the side effect of somewhat problematic side-effect of rendering 'Channel Islands' as 'Islands'...
regards,
Tom |

The new version that corrects the Channel Islands search problem is now live.
(this release also fixes:
minor problems with latitude and longitude default values
problems with full country lists (hopefully resolves the issue reported here);
a minor issue with firefox 3
+ various other misc bugs) |
