I was going to make a wiki entry but found the process rather daunting.

G Ley (3 specimens) was Gertrude Ley (c.1839 - after 1911) the mother in
law of Augustin Ley and lived with him at Sellack.

Hi,

the process for creating wiki entries looks far more complex than it actually is.

The problem is that when a new page is created, a lot of formatting information gets added - this is stuff which can mostly just be ignored - I'm trying to find a way to hide it.

The part that you need to edit to add biographical details is highlighted below. Anything you type here will appear in the wiki entry. You can check things have worked before submitting the new entry by clicking 'preview'. There are various options for adding links and formatting information to the text, but it's fine just to type or paste in plain text as Chris has done with this entry.

I've edited to turn the reference to Augustin Ley into a link, by adding a double pair of square-brackets, but that's just finessing really - the important thing is to have the basic entry created, which can be added to later.

I've renamed the 'G Ley' database entry to 'Gertrude Ley' so the wiki page is http://herbariaunited.org/wiki/Gertrude_Ley.
