A secondary label is in Wood's hand but the main one, possibly a later addition in pencil, giving the date Sept 1864 is very late for him. Is the location 'Alscote'?

Perhaps the specimen was passed to Woods for comment - he wrote a paper on Atriplex

Alscot (Park) SP2050 is on the river Stour about 5 miles from Honington.

I have added Alscot (which surprisingly is in a finger of E Gloucestershire), and changed the collector to Townsend. Thanks!
